I don’t have all the symptoms of social anxiety, but I might have minor anxiety at times. So I haven’t gone to class 3 days straight, now I’m afraid to go back. I don’t know if I have the strength and courage to be in the social environment classrrom full of people who will probably stare at me because I haven’t been to class like 1 week. What should I do?

There are two choices here: either you go back and act like nothing is wrong/or apologize to the instructor privately or you let your fear of what others think of you control your life. I suggest the former rather than the latter. Honestly, 90% of the people in the world are so consumed with their own issues that they might have noticed that you weren’t there but may have imagined that you had something far better to do than to sit in that class (maybe you did). People are so into what they’re doing that they infrequently pay attention to others – don’t worry so much. It will be okay if you act like you deserve to be there.
I probably have a few symptoms myself, added in with a hint of OCD. The best way through this is through this. Just go and do your best. Let people stare. What is the difference if they see you or not? It will not change who you are, what you want out of life or what you need to do. (Some of them might be staring for good reasons

I dont know excly ur age but ur still @ school so u couldnt b 2 old but anyway. 1st is, this obviously like u said started not that long ago so think what u did to make u feel this way a week ago?and either fix it or stop. U know i’m a lot older than u but believe it or not i used to feel like that too when i was ur age and my reason for that was because i was doing something i shouldnt have and it was hard for me to tell at that stage but now i know and it was because i was doing things that was altering my way of thinking and eventually it got to a stage where i was so paranoid i didnt want to do anything especially when there was or is lots of pplz. You say that "others may not be able to detect it" but is others detecting ur little deficiency really important? because they may not be able to detect now but eventually if you dont stop worrying about what others think and etc… ur now mild could become major! Bottom line is, dont worry about what others think and just do whats right and if u do then you wont have any problems like this again and you’ll be very happy for it and when ur happy all the good things and lucks even come ur way,HONEST!
Yeah, going back to school and facing your fears is one answer. But you probably need to see a doctor/psychologist to see if you are experiencing high enough levels of anxiety to warrant medication or therapy to try to overcome it. For some people medication or therapy is necessary. No one should ever be too embarrassed to seek either one.
