I was diagnosed bipolar at about 13, OCD about 2 years ago, Panic disorder 4 years ago, and for the past 8 months I have had an obsession with my health and dying. Why am I having all these issues. I compulsively check my body for lumps, I am afraid all the time of having cancer, and I dont know how to make it stop. I have been on every medication out there from lithium, , , geodon… a lot of … several anti remedies…. I have never found a combination of meds that works for me and still be functional. I am currently not medicated and I know that that is not a good thing. I see my doc every week and because I refuse medication we just do counceling . Believe it or not, even with my multiple diagnoses I am a successful person. I am in management at my , I am able to maintain my home and , and raise my child all alone. That is why my arent pushing meds anymore. I still wish I knew of some miracle pill or something new that may help me… any suggestions?

My grandmother on my father’s side dropped dead at 40 while anging clothes from a massive with no previous signs.

My grandfather (also father’s side) had bypass surgery after a heart when he was fifty and numerous surgeries since then (he’s now 70).

My father had his first heart attack when he was 32, then has had bypass surgery 4 times since then, ago (inlcuding quadruple bypass).

On my mom’s side nobody ever has (except my aunt who has and a weak heart).

I am 22 years old, have already had two children (preeclampsia with both). I am very overweight, weiging 270 lbs. for the last 2 years. My BP is good (avg. 130/73), and so is my (total is below 200 level, but my good is a little low and my bad is a little high). I have very fast , and occasionally my heart will skip beats (like a record skipping). Also, random sharp stabbing chest pain.

Even though I’m young, could I have heart disease, or could it be from my severe panic disorder and post-traumatic stress ? I know I need to lose weight (WORKING ON IT), but what are the chances my heart is "bad" or that I am in danger because of it? Thanks for any help!!!

Is this anxiety/panic/PTSD related?
Could it be heart disease?
Does my age mean anything regarding ?

I am in search of the best for in children. DD has a slight panic disorder but because of her age she cannot be on an antidepressent/anti-anxiety. If you have knowledge of a tried and , please let me know.
DD starts counseling on Monday (took over a month to get an ). She sees her all the time for her chronic health problems (, allergies, beginnings of , and hypothyroid) She had an ulcer at 7 and now it is acting up again, back on Prevacid. She is stressed for a couple of reasons. Mom and Dad just split up and Dad is living with people she doesnt like (not because he’s not home, they cuss and fight and their house is a filthy mess) and because of all her health problems, school can be a struggle for her. She misses a lot of days for and illness. I am looking for something that can help her cope with the everyday stresses because EVERYTHING is making her stress now.
